Happy 1st Birthday Ethan

Today is probably more of celebration to me than it is to Ethan. One year ago today I was blessed with the greast gift imaginable. I can't believe a year has gone by and now my little baby is 1 year old. Happy Birthday Ethan! We love you so much.

Believe it or not Ethan didn't really like the birthday cake?! This is probably the first food I've ever seen him reject...ha ha.

Trip to Texas

This past week Ethan and I went to Texas to visit my family. This was the first time alot of my family even got to meet him! He was a big hit...of course. We had a great time. We went to the zoo, the park, chucky cheese, and much more. Ethan got about a million kisses on his trip.

This month has been full of new milestones for Ethan. He's pulling up on everything and has more and more personality everyday. Here are a few photos of my big boy.

9 Months Old

Yes, my little baby is already 9 months old. However, he's starting to look less like a baby and more like a little boy! Everyday he just gets more and more fun. He LOVES to stand and cruise around. He also has started to say da-da! I don't think he knows what he's saying, but its still pretty awesome.

Super Bowl Sunday was a blast! We didn't go anywhere, but we had our own little party just the 3 of us. Josh made us chicken wings, and I made us nachos! It was so yummy. Of course Ethan wanted to sample everything we had, so I had to make him his own little plate.

Winter Blues

This past month Ethan and I have had a bad case of the winter blues. Its been too cold to go outside, and to make matters worse my car has been out of commission. So needless to say we literally have had cabin fever. Yesterday was finally a semi nice day so I decided Ethan and I needed a walk. Don't let the sun fool you it was still pretty chilly, but after bundling my little man up with numerous layers of clothes we were finally out of house and he loved it! It actually ended up being a great day!

New Job! (and I need your help)

As many of you know I was recently laid of from my job as the Fitness Director at the Boulevard Apartments. I was bummed at first, but I think when one door closes another one always opens. So I'm SO excited to say that I got a new part time job from home. I am Denver's new "Healthy Living" Examiner for www.examiner.com.

Basically I am an independent contractor, or writing freelance, for the website. I will be posting new articles related to health and fitness 3-4 times a week. Now here is where I start to beg... The more "subscribers", readers, and hits I get on my site the more credible I become, and of course the more pay I receive. So I'm asking all my friends and family to help me out by subscribing to my site and checking in every now and then on my articles. The articles are short and fun, so it shouldn't be too painful:)

More and More Fun

Everyday my little man gets more and more fun! He has started to crawl now, but he doesn't do the traditional "on all fours crawl" instead he crawls on his belly using his elbows and feet to scoot him around. I call it the "Army Crawl". He also loves to stand up now. I think I spend most of my days now helping him stand and walk around the house....which is a recipe for a backache:) And my favorite is he gives kisses! It is the cutest thing ever. Once I figure out how to load video from our new video camera to the computer I will show you all of his new little "tricks". For now though her are a few pictures over the last month!

Boy how this past year has flown by. I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone...I can't believe my little boy is already 7 months old! Time just goes by too fast. Here is a recap of our holiday season. Ethan's first Christmas was perfect, and we couldn't be more blessed to have this little boy in our lives. Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Our Thanksgiving weekend was awesome, and the best part was Josh got 4 days off!! On Thanksgiving day I cooked dinner for 5 of our friends. After a delicious meal (if I do say so myself) we played games and just laughed all night. It was a blast! Over the rest of the weekend we put up our Christmas decor and just spent some good, relaxing quality time together. I never wanted the weekend to end. Here are some photos of our weekend.

CHEER FOR THE TROOPS CHARITY- PLEASE READ!!!!!

Hi fellow bloggers! First off thanks for reading, because if any of you out there are like me I tend to skip the blogs with too much writing...I'm more of a picture person myself:) Anyways, I'll get right to the point. As many of you may or may not know I danced with the Denver Bronco Cheerleaders for 3 seasons before Ethan was born. During that time I started a holiday charity called "Cheer for the Troops" inspired by Josh's 15 month deployment in Iraq. Although Josh is now out of the military...thank goodness...I am still heading up "Cheer for the Troops" for a 4th year!

"Cheer for the Troops" is just like it sounds....we are sending holiday "cheer" to our men and women overseas. We do so by collecting goodies, letters, and of course Broncos gear. Now we used to do this exclusively within the cheerleader organization, meaning we used to collect the goods, pack and ship them solely as DBC.

This year I have teamed up with my friend Bri, and our goal is make the "Cheer for the Troops" program bigger and better. After amazing responses from grateful soldiers we figured it was our duty to continue to let this program flourish and to spread more "cheer" to our deserving soldiers. So with this in mind that is why I am reaching out you.....Friends, Family, Fellow bloggers and of course blogstalkers:) I need your help to expand this program.

If anyone out there is interested in donating a gift we are collecting donations at the team store at INVESCO Field from November 27th-December 3rd. Yes, I know its unlike me, but I did go out hunting with Josh one day. I don't know if you would call what I did hunting. I just dressed up in a funny outfit, and froze my butt off in the cold:) We did see some doe while we were out, but Josh didn't shot anything with me there. And thank goodness I don't think I could have handled it. Although I can confidently say now that hunting is NOT my sport I'm glad I went and experienced it with Josh. It is so peaceful out in the wild like that, and I can understand why he likes it. Minus the shotting deer part:)

Ethan's Pearly Whites!

On Wednesday I woke up to find Ethan's first tooth! I was so excited I could hardly contain my self! I kept looking at it and poking around his gums to feel it. Ethan didn't understand what all the excitement was about, but he made it very clear to me that he had had enough of me poking around his mouth:) Also on Saturday I awoke to find Ethan's second tooth. Now he has both his bottom teeth. Man this little guy is sure growning up!

Here we are after the 1st tooth discovery. As you can see I'm ecstatic, Ethan not so much :)

On Saturday we went to a picnic for Josh's work. Ethan was such a ham with the camera that I couldn't resist snapping as many photos as possible. I am the worst at taking those "hold the camera out in front of you pictures" so some of them are not the best. I wish I could crop myself out because Ethan just looks so stinkin' cute.

Girls Day Out

On Sunday I decided to cut loose and go to a Broncos game with my good friend Mel. It was my first time seeing a Broncos game from the stands! We even went down to our old cheerleading locker room before the game to say hi to all of our old team mates! It was such a blast! Plus Ethan was at home having "Boys' Day" with Josh so I got a much needed break. I must admit when I first left the house I almost got choked up because I haven't been away from my little boy for more than two hours. However it didn't take me long to get into the spirit of Girls Day.

25 and Lovin' It!

On Sept. 19th I turned the big 2-5...Yikes! I am so lucky to have such awesome friends, and of course a wonderful husband and son to celebrate with.

BIRTHDAY PART ONE:
The week before my actual b-day my best girlfriends, Mel, Bri, and Steph, took me out to a delicious Mexican dinner (my favorite) followed by presents, cupcakes, and a girls sleep over at my house. The only one missing was Emily...We missed you!

BIRTHDAY PART TWO:
On my actual birthday Josh and Ethan took me out to a delicious dinner where Ethan napped through the whole meal, which NEVER happens! After dinner Josh was going to take me on a much needed shopping spree, but after I stuffed myself I decided to post pone it. Don't worry honey I'm still going to hold you to that shopping spree:) All in all I had the BEST 25th Birthday ever!

Being 4 months old has brought on alot of new experiences for little Ethan, experiences that he has loved! He is starting on solids, which he can't get enough of. He spends less time in his baby swing and more time in his new jumper for big boys:) And finally he is picking up everything and "taste testing" it to make sure it meets his approval. I love this little guy!

Labor Day Weekend

I love three day weekends! Anytime Josh gets and extra day off work we take full advantage of our time together, and this weekend was no exception. We started off the weekend at Estes Park where we shopped, saw a bunch of elk up close, and had a wonderful dinner. Josh's mom was also in town so Ethan got to spend some quality time with his Grandma Woodworth. Next we went to the Taste of Colorado and sampled a ton of yummy food. And finally we went to a BBQ with some friends. All in all a great weekend.

The highlight however was Ethan's 4 Month Birthday! I can't believe our baby is already 4 months old! Today I took my little squirt to the doctor and found out he's not so little anymore. When Ethan was born he was in the 25 percentile for weight and height. Now the little runt has become quite a beef cake weighing in at 15 lbs 9 oz with a height of 25 1/4. That puts him in the 50-70% percentile....YEAH. What a big boy!

ODE TO MY GOOD FRIEND, EMILY HARPER

While the weekend was full of fun there was also one big cloud over it. One of my best friends, Emily, moved back to Utah this weekend. While I have been blessed with a number of good friends, I truly believe only once in a while do you meet that "great friend". A friend that changes your life and that you know you will have forever. Emily is that friend. She has been like a sister to me. She has seen me through Josh's 15 month deployment, my wedding, and the birth of my son. She has been a friend that has truly enriched my life and I don't know what I am going to do with out her. Below are some photos of the goodbye dinner I threw for her last week.

Well these past few weeks have been pretty routine for the Woodworths'...nothing wrong with that! The only thing that is never routine is how much Ethan continues to grow and develop. He is rolling over like a champ, laughing, talking a ton (baby talk of course), and he loves to sit up. I always have to have him propped up so he can see what is going on. He is also getting heavier everyday. My biceps burn if I hold him for too long :) Here are some photos of my little squirt at 3 1/2 months old. WE LOVE HIM!

I know I have thrown 3 posts at you in the last 5 days, but so much has happened these last few weeks that I had to play catch up!

So for all of you football fans preseason is finally upon us. Sunday was the Hall of Fame game featuring the Tennessee Titans vs. (you guessed it) the Buffalo Bills. For those of you who don't know Josh is a BIG time Bills fan. For every holiday (birthdays...Christmas) he always asks for some new Buffalo Bills gear, so naturally Ethan would follow in his father's footsteps. 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

This past Sunday, May 31st, was Josh and I's one year anniversary. It is amazing how fast time goes and how much can change in a year! Since Josh's parents were in town they offered to babysit for us so we could go out and celebrate. For the occasion Josh bought me some beautiful diamond earrings and took me out to eat. ETHAN'S 2 WEEK BIRTHDAY

Today is officially Ethan's 2 week Birthday. It's hard to believe that just two weeks ago he was still in my belly. He has already grown and matured so much I can't believe it! Everyday he is more alert and has a little more personality. Also I am happy to report that he is starting to get his days and nights in order. Ethan is sleeping for an amazing 5 hours at night then after a quick snack he's out for another 3! Plus he is a fabulous napper during the day! I never thought I would be so happy to get 5 hours of sleep. He is such a good boy and a happy baby. We love you Ethan!

As you can see from the above picture the doctor kept making me lay in various positions to try and alleviate any pressure I was putting the cord. After the baby's heart rate dropped twice while I was in labor I was taken in for an emergency Cesarean. It was terrifying and emotional for Josh and I, but as you can see the baby was born safely and that is all that matters.

SURPRISE BABY SHOWER

So to give you a little background before I tell you about the shower, Josh is an executive management partner at Cintas. With this position Josh is in a two year "training program" which requires him to rotate through numerous jobs before he takes over a location of his own. About 6 months ago he worked in the plant as a production supervisor. When he left that job the people he worked with threw him a going away party, which his boss told me, they had never done before for any other supervisor. Anyways, it's been six months since then and still these people care for and respect Josh enough to reach out him and his family once again.

Yesterday morning Josh called me at around 8am and told me that he wanted to go to lunch with me and I HAD to be at his work by 10:15am. First off I was cranky that he woke me, because as all you other pregnant women know sleeping is hard enough as it is. Anyways, I dragged myself out of bed to meet him like he asked. When I got there he told me to come with him to the break room (which again I thought was weird) where I was shocked to find a surprise baby shower waiting for me. The shower was filled with numerous homemade Mexican dishes, a delicious cake, and gifts. The ladies also made me a pin to wear as the mom to be. It was so wonderful and so thoughtful I just couldn't believe they all took the time to organize this party for Josh and I.

What was even better was as I sat there and talked to many of these women they just went on and on about what a wonderful boss and person Josh is. They all kept telling me how sad they were when he had to leave to his new position. I just felt so proud and so blessed to have a husband who managed to impact that many people in such a short amount of time.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who responded to may vaccine post! I already feel SO much better. I always planned on getting him vaccinated, but I just wanted to get the facts on why kids need so many more shots now compared to when I was a kid. I guess you can't help but worry when it comes to your child's health. If anyone else out there still has opinions or experiences to share I'm still glad to here them. A new mom can never get to much advice. Thanks again :)

VACCINES- FRIEND OR FOE?

HELP!?

Now, I'm not some hippie who is against vaccines, but the more research I do the more scared and confused I tend to get. Some articles make vaccines sound safe and others make it seem like we are potentially overdosing our children and falling for some pharmaceutical money making scheme. Granted most of my research thus far has been done over the Internet (I haven't asked my pediatrician yet), but still I can't help but worry.

One article I found said that in 1983 (the year before I was born) only 11 vaccines were given to children by the time they were two years old. Now 20+ years later a total of 36 vaccines are given to kids by that same age! Also Autism has increased from 1 in 10,000 in 1983 to 1 in 80 presently. Although the majority of the research I've found says there is no direct link (I'm sure it could be a number of factors), it still makes me nervous and question.

Anyways, since most of friends in the "blog world" have children I thought I would throw this question out to you. Are there any vaccines you and your pediatrician have omitted? Or have you just given your kids all of them? Any side effects? Any advice you guys could give me is appreciated. I know our little guy born yet, and I'm sure our pediatrician will guide us, but I figure the more I know the better off I'll be. I just find it funny that a baby needs a Hep B shot...I mean I didn't get a Hep B shot until I started working in the psychiatric ward and if you saw the patients I worked with you would know why that shot was necessary:)

So after our little scare two weeks ago we figured that there was no time like the present to finish up the nursery. The room couldn't have turned out cuter! Now all we need is our little bundle of joy to put in it!

THE ALMOST BABY STORY

Well last Friday Josh and I had our first little taste of what D-day will be like. It was about 10:30pm and I started going into labor. I was only 35 weeks along so naturally this was a BIG shock and surprise to both of us. We had no bags packed, no car seat, and the nursery was still in shambles to say the least. Between the contractions and horrific back labor I stopped bawling long enough to call my doctor at 2:30am where she proceeded to have me come into the hospital. Josh was so sweet running all over the house getting stuff organized and looking just as panicked as I was. He kept trying to get me to do my "breathing", but at that point I was in so much pain that all bets were off.
On the way to hospital we had to pull over for my one of my uncontrollable vomiting spells, nearly ran out of gas, and missed our exit! We were a mess. Once at the hospital the nurse ran some tests on me and found out I had a kidney infection which is what triggered the labor. Luckily she was able to give me a shot which stopped the labor and contractions, and I was then treated for the infection. Two days later after all of that drama (and pain) we were finally out of the hospital, but with no baby.
As much as I wish we were able to bring our son home, I'm glad it all worked out the way it did! Our little guy still has a few more weeks of much needed "cookin" to do. Also it gave us some more time to get ready at home. Needless to say, our bags are now packed and the nursery is complete! Plus it gave us a little "practice" run for the real thing:)

Slackers

BUYING OUR FIRST HOME

As many of you know Josh and I bought our first home. This week we finally finished painting the upstairs. With Josh working 60 hours a week and me being 35 weeks pregnant it was quite a chore. We have a few more finishing touches and then we promise we will post pictures of the inside.

At the end of every season we have a dinner to celebrate another great year! We also get some awesome end of the year gifts commemorating our time on the team. For our third year gift we get 3 diamonds in a broncos pinkie ring.

OUR TRIP TO TEXAS

Josh and I took a mini vacation to visit my family in Texas. Over those four days we went to dad's wedding (he got remarried), my family baby shower, and sent my dad off to Afghanistan. Needless to say it was a busy trip. Oh and did I mention we got a flat tire at 3am on our 10hour drive down there...yeah that was fun :)

Texas was blast and I am so grateful to my sweet hubby for driving me all the way down there to visit before our baby is born. As I said earlier my dad recently deployed to Afghanistan were he will be serving a 6 month tour. I've been fortunate enough to talk with my dad and while he assures me he is safe he says I need to pray for all those men and women working on the ground. So if you read this pray for him and for our troops still over there fighting.

Girls Night

So last Saturday we had a girls night filled with food and movies...what else of course! There were 12 of us who came out for the festivities (which has got to be some kind of a record). We started off the night with dinner at the Paramount Cafe followed by the movie, "He's Just Not That Into You." If you are thinking of seeing it I highly recommend it!

Here are Emily and I right before we left for the "night on the town". You can see the belly is getting bigger by the second. Yesterday in Walmart someone asked me if I was smuggling a basketball...nice!

Busy...Busy...Busy

So these last few weeks have been crazy to say the least. Josh got a new job title two weeks ago which has had him working more hours than I thought humanly possible. He has been working 60 + hours these past few weeks. I miss him awful, but I am so proud of what a hard worker he is. He has already made such progress with his team and has only been in charge for a short amount of time.

We also finally bought a house! Yeah! That's right we left the city, and are living in the "burbs" now:) We are only about 25 minutes from downtown which is perfect since I am still working as the fitness director at our old apartment complex. Preparing the house was alot of work, and a week from hell to say the least. Cleaning and painting felt like never ending chores, and moving our stuff was ridiculous. How could we accumulate so much stuff after being married only 9 months?! Lucky for us though, we had some friends graciously offer to help, as well as, Josh's dad who flew in from New York.

As far as the baby goes he is still growing like a champ and making me chubbier every day:) It probably doesn't help that I recently started craving sweets, chocolate cake to be exact.
*Note to self: Do not bake chocolate cake, while self control is questionable!
I am currently 26 weeks along, and I feel like every morning I wake up bigger than I went to sleep. Everyone says around that 7th month you really pop, and that is rapidly approaching. I just can't wait to meet our little boy!!!

Well that should have you all up to speed! I know blogs with out photos are super boring, but our office is still a work in progress. I will post photos of the new house soon! I hope everyone is doing well.

Goodbye To My Waistline

I think it is safe to say that at 24 weeks pregnant I can kiss my waistline goodbye:) As much as I'd like to morn my faded six pack (OK lets face it I never had a six pack), I'm just so happy to be embracing this next step of our lives. Everyday I get bigger so does our little boy, and that makes it all worth it. I just had my 24 week appointment and so far so good. I'm measuring normal and our little man's heart is beating strongly. He has become quite the "squirmer", kicking, punching and doing what feels like somersaults nonstop. Josh says he preparing for wrestling season:)

Christmas in Colorado

This year we spent Christmas right here in Colorado. It was weird for me being away from home this year, but I was so happy Josh and I got to share our first Christmas together as husband and wife. Josh's parents also came out to visit us for the week . Over the holiday we went snowmobiling, to see"A Christmas Carol", and we continued our house hunting! It was a busy, but wonderful Christmas!

Christmas Eve at "The Christmas Carol". The play was wonderful, followed by dinner downtown where I had the BEST steak I have ever eaten! Since I have been pregnant I have been quite the carnivore!

I have to say the mountains in Colorado are beyond breath taking. Besides freezing our butts off we were able enjoy an amazing snow mobile ride through the beautiful Rockies!

IT'S A BOY

We received the best Christmas gift this year... we found out we are having a son! Here are some pictures of our little man. Merry Christmas!!

To Buy or Not Buy

So Josh and I are hoping to take the next big step...That's right we are house hunting!

Below I have posted a picture of our potential beauty. It is an old Victorian home built in 1890. That's right 1890 (yikes!!) Keep in mind this one is a fixer upper! Our goal is to find the ugly duckling in the desirable neighborhood and fix it up, and hopefully when we sell in a few years we will be able to make a profit. If any of you have watched "Property Ladders" or "Flip this House" then you know what I am talking about.:) We just want to find a property that will be a good investment. Buying a home alone is a big step, but all the renovations we need to do is a little nerve racking (Luckily Josh is handy). Anyways, we are just trying to get some final things in order before we make an offer! AHHH!!! Hopefully no one snags this house from underneath us before we can seal the deal. Wish us luck!!

I love Christmas

This weekend Josh and I put up our Christmas tree and decorations. It was so much fun. It was a day filled of hot cocoa and Christmas music!!! Last year at this time Josh was still in Iraq. I just felt so blessed to have him home. So much can change in a year!!

Josh's 28th Birthday!

I know this post is late, but on November 13th Josh turned the BIG 2-8!! In fact this was his first birthday we have gotten to celebrate together. For Josh's 26th and 27th Birthday he was deployed in Iraq. So in honor of this special occasion I thought it was only appropriate to celebrate in style....Buffalo Bills style.

Josh is a huge Buffalo Bills fan! In fact all he asked for his birthday was Buffalo Bills gear! Below are pictures from his party. His birthday was on a Thursday so it was just the two of us, but after being apart for so long it was a perfect way to celebrate! At least this year I didn't have to mail his cake half way around the world!

I know...I know... I'm a slacker. Its been over a month since I have last blogged so here is a sneak peek of what Josh and I have been up too!!

Our Trip to Kansas City for the NASCAR race!
As many of you know Josh is a big NASCAR fan, and an even bigger Jeff Gordon fan! This past month we were lucky enough to take a trip to Kansas City for a weekend filled of cars, engines, and more! We had "Pit Passes" so we were right in the action for the entire race. We got meet numerous drivers including Josh's favorite, Jeff Gordon. Needless to say, Josh was like a kid in a candy store:) Go 2-4!!!!

Twelve Weeks PREGO!!!

All is well in baby-ville. I just had my 12 week appointment where Josh and I got to hear the heart beat for the first time. It was unreal. I can't believe I have this little person growing inside me! Below is my latest profile picture. My belly hasn't quite "popped" yet, instead I just look like I had one to many donuts:) Morning sickness is finally gone, but food aversions are still going strong. I pretty much am a vegetarian now since the sight, smell, or thought of meat makes me want to lose my lunch. Did any other moms out there go through that?

Half Way Over!

The season is halfway to an end with only 3 home games left. Below are pictures of the girls and I in my favorite chap uniform. It also rained on us during the game, which I love!! I just doesn't feel like football without a little precipitation. What a BLAST!!!!

We just LOVE Halloween. My hubby and I dressed up as...you guessed it...BACON & EGGS! It was so much fun. That night we went to a Halloween party with a bunch of my friends. It was a blast. Josh also had his friend, Matt, in from Tennessee which was perfect for him!

BIG NEWS!!

I'M PREGNANT
Although I've already spilled the beans to a few of you, I wanted to wait until my first doctors appointment before offically announcing it. Yesterday it was finally confirmed, I am 7 weeks pregnant and my due date is May 12th...YEAH!

THE BABY STORY:
We found out about our little bundle of joy about 3 weeks ago. As you can see our initial reaction was just as surprised as you are:) I love Josh's "deer in head lights" look....it is classic! Anyways, it was right around our 3 month anniversary when I just started having the feeling I was pregnant. I can't explain it, but I just knew! We took 2 pregnancy tests and they both came out negative, but I just wouldn't let it go! About 3 days later (after the torture of listening to me spaz out) Josh decided to humor me, so we took a thrid test! And who would have thought it, a little blue plus sign appeared. I'm sure this isn't the normal reaction, but immediately we just started cracking up. We just couldn't believe it! We still wanted more proof so we rushed back to the store and got 2 more tests (I'm sure the people at Walgreen's thought we were crazy!). + and +....WOW! It was amazing. I think we went through every emotion these last few weeks...Joy, Shock, Fear, and of course Joy again.

Yesterday, we saw the first picture of our baby. All though the baby is only the size of a blueberry we could see the heart beating! It was pumping so fast! It was amazing. I just looked at Josh and could not believe we made this together....It was so beautiful.

MY 2-4 Birthday!

So Friday was my 24th Birthday, and it was such a wonderful day. My day started off with numerous phone calls from family and friends, which completely made my day. Later Josh and I had a softball game. Yes, that's right a softball game! For those of you that don't know Josh and I are in a Co-ed softball league with a bunch of our friends. The game was a blast, but we got slaughtered! We are now 1-1. We have to step it up if we want that championship trophie :)

After the game I got the best surpise of all. Josh totally faked me out and threw me a "Jeff Gordon 2-4" Surprise Party. To get you all up to speed, Josh is a HUGE Jeff Gordon (#24) fan, and we both had joked that my 24th birthday had to be done in true Jeff Gordon style. I think he was more excited for my 24th Birtday than I was. My party was complete with pizza, cake, all of our friends, and of course Jeff Gordon streamers. Josh is such a wonderful husband! He always has these cute, quirky ways of romancing me. I love him so much.

SEASON OPENER

So yesterday was the Season Opener, Broncos vs. Chargers! It was such a fun game! It is amazing to see how the spirit in Invesco transforms from Pre Season to now. The crowd goes CRAZY!!! I just feel so lucky to be apart of this organization doing what I love most. My favorite part of yesterday was definately the military salute and fly over. I get emotional everytime. Last year at this time it was such a different experience for me. Josh was still in Iraq and had been for the past 12 months! It is so nice to know that he is home now and safe!

Kiwi and Caesar

I just couldn't resist posting our little babies! If you didn't guess already Kiwi is my tiny, adorable yorkie, and Caesar is Josh's English bulldog. Kiwi is 2 years old and Caesy is 5. We just love our dogs to death. When I leave for the day I just can't wait to get home and cuddle my little Kiwi. That is after I cuddle my handsome husband :)

3 Month Anniversary

So yesterday was Josh and I's 3 month anniversary. I can't believe we have already been married 3 months. It was such a wonderful day. Josh started the morning by making me breakfast in bed, which was so romantic. He always manages to find little ways to surprise me. He is such a good husband, and sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky.
